Privacy Policy
Protecting your data matters to us. This website is deliberately data-minimising: it sets no cookies, embedsno analytics or tracking scripts, and loads fonts and graphics locally. The only exception is Google Search Console, which we use to analyse our visibility in Google Search — see section 4. Below we explain which data we process, when, and for what purpose.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
Kaletka Sondermaschinenbau GmbH
Wilhelmstr. 61
68799 Reilingen
Germany
Represented by the managing director Markus Kaletka
Phone: +49 (0)6205 20498 0
Email: info@kaletka.com
2. Your rights at a glance
You have the right at any time to
- obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- request the deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- request the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), and
- withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
An informal message toinfo@kaletka.com is sufficient for any of these requests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for us usually the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
3. Hosting & server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO AG. When you access the site, your browser automatically transmits technical data to the host's server, which may be stored in log files — typically your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the previously visited page, and browser and operating system identifiers. This processing is necessary for the secure and stable operation of the website; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in error-free provision (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The host processes this data on our behalf as a processor and only to the extent required for provision.
4. Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to see how our website performs in Google Search (e.g. search terms, clicks, impressions). Search Console embeds no script and no cookie on this website and does not track individual visitors of our site — it only evaluates data Google already collects through its search index and crawler. Proof of domain ownership is provided via a DNS or meta-tag entry, not through processing visitor data. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in assessing and improving our search visibility (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because no personal data of our website visitors is processed for this purpose, no cookie notice is required.
5. Contact form
You can send us a non-binding inquiry via the form on ourcontact page. We process the information you enter:
- name (required),
- company (optional),
- email address (required),
- phone number (optional),
- the selected subject and your message,
- files you optionally upload (e.g. drawings, CAD files, photos).
Purpose & legal basis: We process this data solely to handle your inquiry and reply to you. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a (pre-)contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) as well as the consent you give via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Providing the fields marked as required is necessary to handle your request; all other information is voluntary.
Transmission & storage: Your inquiry is delivered to us by email immediately (info@kaletka.com); in addition, you receive an automatic acknowledgement to the email address you provided. There is no disclosure to third parties and no transfer to the USA. Your data is not stored permanently on the web server: uploaded files remain only in the temporary directory for the duration of the transfer and are deleted automatically afterwards. Your IP address is written to the notification email only in anonymised form (without the last address segment).
Retention: We retain your inquiry for as long as necessary to process it and to handle any follow-up questions, as well as within the scope of statutory retention obligations. After that the data is deleted. You may object to storage at any time, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.
6. Spam protection
To protect against automated spam, the form uses exclusively server-side, data-minimising methods (a field invisible to humans plus a time and link check). No external services such as Google reCAPTCHA are used; no data is transmitted to third parties. To limit abuse, an irreversible check value (hash) of your IP address is held briefly (at most one hour) — not the IP address itself.
7. Fonts
This website uses fonts that are embedded locally on our server. When you access the site, no connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
8. Map (Google Maps, two-click solution)
On the contact page we offer a Google Maps map for directions. For data protection reasons the map does not load automatically: it is embedded only once you explicitly click the "Load map" button. Without this click, no connection to Google is made and no data is transmitted to Google.
When you click "Load map", your browser connects to Google's servers. In doing so, your IP address may be transmitted to Google and, where applicable, transferred to countries outside the EU (including the USA); Google may also set cookies in this context. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis for loading the map is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the click and can withdraw for the future at any time by using the page without loading the map. For more on Google's processing, seeGoogle's privacy policy.
9. Links to external services
Our website contains links to external services (e.g. our YouTube and Instagram profiles). These links are plain references — no content from these services is embedded in our page, and no data is transmitted to these providers when you merely visit our page. Only when you click such a link do you leave our website; from that point on the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence over their content and processing.
10. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no comparable storage (e.g. local storage) on your device. A cookie banner is therefore not required. Only if you load the map via the two-click solution (see section 8) may the third-party provider Google set cookies under its own responsibility.
11. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar. This prevents the data you transmit to us from being read by third parties.
